Making art has been a lifelong journey beginning in childhood with making paper dolls and drawing on the walls.
I am a self-taught illustrator who creates digitally in Procreate, as well as Mixed-Media and Collage. I've honed my skills through Skillshare, Highlights Foundation, Domestika and Make Art That Sells classes.
I love to create whimsical characters and their worlds.  I'm told that my art evokes feelings of warmth and love. Currently I am combining my digital, mixed-media, and collage techniques to illustrate a children's story I have written. I have written other children's stories and have been a member of SCBWI for years. 

My work in Education and with disabled children influences my art, as does my time studying abroad in Australia. Whales, dolphins, lighthouses and ocean themes are favorite subjects since living in Gloucester, Massachusetts.
